Melbourne Airport has integrated AI agents with its SharePoint repositories to improve incident response across its aerodrome and terminals. This development was announced by Irfan Khan, the head of data analytics, during the Sydney Microsoft AI Tour. The AI agents are designed to help staff quickly access the latest standard operating procedures (SOPs) during incidents, thereby expediting the preparation of shift incident reports for senior leaders, including the chief executive. Khan highlighted that these agents ensure that users always receive the most current information, reducing the workload associated with generating detailed reports for time-constrained staff.
