Study Suggests Viagra May Help Prevent Cancer Metastasis

The research indicates that sildenafil interferes with cancer cells' ability to use cholesterol, which is crucial for their spread. The study found that combining sildenafil with statins, which lower cholesterol, could enhance this effect. The findings are based on mouse models, human cancer cell cultures, and health data from millions of patients. While promising, these results are preclinical and require further validation in human studies before they can influence cancer treatment protocols.
