Galanz Retro Refrigerators Recalled Due to Fire Hazard
Galanz Americas Limited Company has issued a recall for approximately 121,680 units of its retro refrigerators sold at Home Depot and Amazon. The recall follows reports of electrical components short-circuiting, leading to fire hazards. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has documented 34 fire incidents related to these refrigerators. Consumers are advised to stop using the affected models immediately and contact Galanz for a free repair. The recall affects models sold between December 2018 and December 2020.
