UAE Government Launches AI Project to Transform Federal Operations
The United Arab Emirates has initiated the strategic phase of its agentic AI project, aiming to convert 50% of federal government operations, services, and tasks to AI-driven models within two years. This initiative, part of the UAE Government 4.0 framework, seeks to integrate AI into federal operations to enhance policy development, future planning, and decision-making. Over 100 federal officials attended a workshop marking the operational start of deploying AI models across strategic government work. The project covers seven areas, including strategy and projects, foresight, policies, governance, government performance, global competitiveness, and innovation. Huda Al Hashimi, Deputy Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Strategic Affairs, emphasized the principle of 'human leads, AI enables' as central to the project.
