China's Central Bank to Enhance Financial Support for Real Economy in H2 2026
China's central bank, the People's Bank of China (PBOC), announced plans to continue implementing a moderately loose monetary policy in the second half of 2026. This strategy aims to strengthen counter-cyclical adjustments and promote sustained economic development. The PBOC intends to maintain ample liquidity and guide financial institutions to balance credit supply. Additionally, the bank will focus on the high-quality development of a 'technology board' in the bond market and improve the credit enhancement system for private enterprises and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). These measures are part of a broader effort to align the growth of social financing and money supply with economic targets.
