Kei Komuro Passes New York Bar Exam, Paving Way for Legal Career in U.S.
Kei Komuro, the husband of former Japanese Princess Mako, has successfully passed the New York State Bar Exam on his third attempt, allowing him to practice law in New York. Komuro, who moved to New York City with Princess Mako after their marriage, graduated from Fordham University School of Law. His journey to becoming a lawyer has been closely followed due to his marriage to Mako, who relinquished her royal status to marry him. Komuro's background includes a diverse range of experiences, from promoting tourism in Japan to working in a French restaurant. He currently works at Lowenstein Sandler, where he advises on venture capital financings and mergers and acquisitions.
