Turkish Defense Manufacturer Roketsan Expands Missile Production Facilities with $3 Billion Investment
Turkish defense manufacturer Roketsan has inaugurated several new production and research facilities as part of a $3 billion infrastructure expansion aimed at increasing manufacturing and testing capabilities. The ceremony, held on April 7, 2026, marked the commissioning of installations including a fuel production infrastructure in Kırıkkale, a warhead manufacturing complex, and a research and engineering center. The company has also begun constructing additional missile integration facilities. Murat İkinci, CEO of Roketsan, stated that approximately $1 billion of the expansion work is complete. The Kırıkkale Fuel Production Facilities, representing a $450 million investment, is the largest site inaugurated, designed to expand Türkiye's solid rocket fuel production capacity.
