Robert Aderholt and State Leaders Celebrate Airport Expansion in Fayette County
U.S. Representative Robert Aderholt, alongside state and local officials, participated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Richard Arthur Field to mark the completion of significant expansion projects. The event celebrated the addition of a new 4,860-square-foot multi-box hangar and a 10,320-square-foot expansion of the aircraft apron. These improvements are designed to enhance the airport's capacity and support economic development in Fayette County. The ceremony was attended by State Senator Matt Woods, State Representative Brian Brinyark, and Fayette Mayor Rod Northam, among others. The project included grading, paving, striping, drainage improvements, and culvert repairs beneath the runway, aiming to position the airport for future growth.
