CRISPR Screening Uncovers Regulators of NF-κB Signaling in Human Cells
A recent webinar presented by Tilmann Buerckstuemmer, PhD, from Myllia Biotechnology, showcased the use of optical pooled CRISPR screening to identify regulators of NF-κB signaling in human cells. This innovative approach combines high-throughput CRISPR screening with imaging techniques to study the dynamics of NF-κB, a key player in inflammatory responses. The study utilized the AVITI24™ platform to analyze approximately 440,000 cells, linking genetic perturbations to protein localization and morphological features. The research identified both known and novel components of the NF-κB pathway, including chromatin-modifying complexes, enhancing the understanding of this critical signaling mechanism.
