Women's Foundation of Minnesota Invests $45,000 in 15 Young Leaders for Social Change
The Women's Foundation of Minnesota (WFM) has announced a direct investment of $45,000 into its ninth cohort of Innovators, comprising 15 young women and gender-expansive individuals. Each Innovator received a $3,000 grant to support their projects, which are designed to advance key recommendations outlined in the Young Women's Initiative of Minnesota (YWI MN) Blueprint for Action. These projects focus on various social issues, including building gender and community-oriented financial literacy, enhancing career pathways, increasing mental health support, ensuring community spaces and conversations, reframing harmful narratives, and developing young women leaders. The Innovators will also receive personalized development, networking opportunities, and direct support from FLOREO Labs to help them develop their business models and scale their projects into successful prototypes.
