Maryland Road Safety Advocate Calls for Action After Series of Crashes
A series of major crashes in Maryland, including a massive pileup in Montgomery County, has prompted calls for improved road safety measures. The pileup involved a moving truck losing control and colliding with several vehicles, resulting in 10 people, including three children, being hospitalized with minor injuries. The incident follows two deadly crashes in Prince George's County earlier in the week. John Seng, founder of Safe Roads Maryland, emphasized the need for proactive measures to prevent such accidents. He urged state leaders to implement changes before more lives are lost, highlighting the importance of traffic calming measures and improved road configurations.
