LIDO Festival Faces Delays Due to Weather-Related Park Issues
The LIDO Festival, scheduled to take place in Victoria Park, has been affected by weather-related issues. According to a statement from the festival organizers, one of the wettest winters in recent history has delayed an extensive reseeding and improvement program in the park. This has led to the cancellation of some festival dates, including a performance by Euro-Country singer CMAT. The park had previously experienced dust issues during last summer's festivals due to drought conditions. Organizers have decided to give the newly improved areas more time to recover before proceeding with the festival program. Despite these setbacks, the festival plans to host electronic duo Maribou State and other acts during a single show in August.
