Stolen Romanian Gold Helmet Recovered in Netherlands
A priceless 2,500-year-old gold helmet from Romania, stolen from the Drents Museum in the Netherlands, has been recovered. The theft, which occurred in January 2025, involved a gang using firework bombs to break into the museum. The helmet, along with two of the three stolen gold bracelets, was unveiled by Dutch authorities. The recovery was part of a plea deal with the suspects, who are currently on trial.
