Immuneering's Drug Extends Survival in Pancreatic Cancer Patients by Nine Months
Immuneering's investigational drug, atebimetinib, has shown promising results in a Phase 2a trial for pancreatic cancer, extending median overall survival by nearly nine months compared to standard treatments. The drug, combined with modified gemcitabine/nab-paclitaxel, demonstrated a median overall survival of 17.3 months. The trial results were presented at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) meeting, highlighting the drug's potential as a first-line treatment for metastatic pancreatic cancer.
