Quabbin Reservoir Towns Seek State Support Amid Drought and Funding Challenges
Towns surrounding the Quabbin Reservoir in Massachusetts are advocating for increased state support as they face financial challenges and the impacts of an extended drought. Despite being home to a major water source for Greater Boston, these towns do not have direct access to the reservoir's water and rely on more fragile local sources.
