Haslams Invest $130 Million in University of Tennessee to Enhance Business Education
Cleveland Browns owners Dee and Jimmy Haslam have announced a significant $130 million investment in the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. This funding, the largest in the university's history, is aimed at bolstering student success and faculty recruitment, particularly within the Haslam College of Business. The Haslams, who have previously contributed to the university, are focusing this donation on enhancing the university's national reputation and supporting the next generation of leaders. The investment will allocate $100 million specifically to the Haslam College of Business for faculty recruitment, student success initiatives, graduate student scholarships, and the undergraduate honors program. This contribution increases the Haslams' total financial support to the university to $195 million.
