Maryland Weather Data Highlights for October 2026
The University of Maryland's Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Science, in collaboration with the Maryland Department of Emergency Management, has released a comprehensive weather update for October 2026. The Maryland Mesonet, a network of weather stations across the state, provides real-time data on air temperature, atmospheric pressure, relative humidity, wind speed and direction, solar radiation, rainfall, snow depth, and soil moisture and temperature. These measurements are taken at one-minute intervals, offering detailed insights into the state's weather conditions. The data is compiled using the Online Phenology and Degree-Day Models site and the U.S. Drought Monitor, providing valuable resources for agricultural planning and environmental monitoring. This information is freely accessible to the public.
