Batavia Farmers Market Expands with New Mid-Week Evening Schedule
The Batavia Farmers Market is set to open its mid-week evening market for the season, as announced by the Batavia MainStreet group. This market, now in its third year, will operate from 5 to 8 p.m. on select Wednesdays throughout June, July, and August. The market has relocated to South Riverwalk Plaza on North Island Avenue and Houston Street, in front of Batavia City Hall, moving from its previous location on North River Street. This change aims to activate a different area of downtown Batavia and coincide with the River Rhapsody Concert Series held at the nearby Peg Bond Center. The market will feature 20 vendors offering a variety of fresh produce, farm-raised meats, cheeses, and ready-to-eat items. The event is designed to provide convenient shopping options for those who may not be able to attend the larger Saturday market.
