Paterson Public Schools Seeks Senior Systems Engineer to Bolster Technology Infrastructure
Paterson Public Schools is actively seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join its technology team. The position, which offers a salary between $100,000 and $105,000 per year, is open until filled and has an immediate start date. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of eight years in IT system administration, network administration, or a similar role, with a preference for school infrastructure experience. The Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for assisting the core Technology Team with daily technology systems and networking tasks, monitoring data center health, managing physical and virtual server environments, and overseeing information and data systems. Key duties also include evaluating and recommending system upgrades, providing technical support, performing routine system audits, and assisting with security measures and disaster recovery processes.
