Greater Fall River Re-Creation Hosts Free Community Block Party with Activities and Resources
Greater Fall River Re-Creation is organizing its fifth annual Community Block Party, scheduled to take place on May 16 from noon to 3 p.m. at 45 Rock St. The event is designed to be a free and open gathering for the public, offering a variety of activities and entertainment. Attendees can enjoy face painting, a rock climbing wall, balloon art, and spray paint art. Additionally, there will be free giveaways and resource tables set up by various community members. The event will also feature free food, refreshments, and music provided by a DJ. Vendor parking is available on Bedford Street inside the People Inc. parking lot. The Massachusetts Department of Public Health Gun Violence Prevention Program supports the event.
