SOCOM Partners with SkyFi for Enhanced Tactical EO Imagery Tools
The U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM) has selected SkyFi to develop a prototype for a new intelligence platform that will provide troops with quicker access to geospatial imagery. This initiative aims to enhance the capabilities of operators in conflict zones by integrating a plug-in for the Android Tactical Assault Kit, a software application used across the U.S. government for mission planning. SkyFi, which partners with over 150 satellite sources, will offer a single gateway to various imagery types, including high-resolution optical, multispectral, and SAR, using AI to help identify threats and changes on the ground.
