Netherlands and Lithuania Cleared for U.S. Missile Purchases
The U.S. Department of State has cleared the Netherlands and Lithuania to purchase advanced missiles as part of the Foreign Military Sales program. The Netherlands will acquire 530 AGM-114R2 Hellfire missiles, while Lithuania will receive 152 AIM-9X Block II Sidewinder missiles. These sales, valued at $200 million and $214 million respectively, aim to enhance the military capabilities of both countries.
