A new giant swing attraction has opened at the summit of Grand Chamossaire in western Switzerland, as ski resorts in the Alps prepare for less reliable snowfall due to climate change. The BalancAIR swing lifts riders to a 90-degree angle at 2,110 meters before releasing them above the valley, offering a thrilling experience combined with stunning Alpine views. This initiative is part of a broader effort by ski resorts to attract summer visitors and diversify their offerings, as changing weather patterns threaten traditional winter tourism. The resort has seen record visitor numbers in recent winters, but is planning for a future with less predictable snow conditions.
