Severe storms target South with hail, tornado threats
A multi-day severe weather outbreak will impact the South from Friday, April 24 through Monday, April 27, bringing large hail, damaging winds and possible tornadoes. The threat begins Friday across parts of Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas, before intensifying Saturday and peaking Sunday evening. By Monday, April 27, storms shift east into the mid-South, including Memphis and Birmingham, with flooding also possible from repeated heavy rain.
