House Republicans Seek Information on Ethics Probe of US Judge Eleanor Ross Amid Impeachment Considerations
Top House Republicans, including House Judiciary Chair Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), have formally requested information from a federal appeals court regarding the private reprimand of Judge Eleanor Ross of the Atlanta-based US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. The lawmakers are seeking an explanation for the decision to privately reprimand Judge Ross, who was found to have engaged in an extramarital affair in her chambers, lied to judicial investigators, and improperly attended a political event.
