Cloud chats, which include standard private conversations, groups, and channels, utilize client-server encryption. This means messages are encrypted as they travel between a user's device and Telegram's servers and are stored on these servers, allowing access from multiple devices. However, these cloud chats are not end-to-end encrypted, meaning Telegram's infrastructure processes and stores them.
