VPNs for AI Agents: Enhancing Privacy and Security in Digital Interactions
Gen Digital, the company behind Norton and Avast, has introduced a VPN specifically designed for AI agents. This VPN allows AI agents, such as those using OpenClaw and ChatGPT, to operate with enhanced privacy and security. By routing AI agents through a VPN, users can protect their IP addresses from being associated with the agents' activities, thereby preventing internet service providers (ISPs) from tracking these activities. The VPN also enables AI agents to access region-restricted content and bypass throttling or blocked access. This development addresses the growing concern that AI agents, which are increasingly used for various online tasks, often access the internet without adequate protection, potentially exposing users to privacy risks.
