Strong Museum of Play Expands Interactive Space at Rochester Airport
The Strong National Museum of Play has expanded its interactive exhibit space at the Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport. The new Concourse A play area now offers over 1,000 square feet of flight-themed exhibit space. This expansion includes artifacts, photo opportunities, digital interactive games, and updated seating. A prominent feature is a giant Mr. Potato Head, complete with a suitcase, greeting travelers. This new area complements an existing exhibit in Concourse B, which features classic arcade games, display cases of iconic games, and an informational kiosk. Monroe County Executive Adam Bello stated that the expanded exhibit serves as a welcoming introduction to Rochester for travelers and provides entertainment for families awaiting flights.
