European Travel Commission Re-elects Leadership and Expands Industry Partnerships
The European Travel Commission (ETC) has re-elected Miguel Sanz as President and appointed Arnar Már Ólafsson as Vice President during its General Meeting in Montenegro. The meeting also saw the inclusion of new associate members from the travel industry, including Booking.com, Feratel, GetYourGuide, and Skyscanner. These developments are part of ETC's efforts to enhance cooperation across Europe's tourism sector and promote sustainable tourism practices. Under Sanz's leadership, the ETC has focused on sustainability, advocacy, and strengthening engagement with European institutions. The new partnerships aim to leverage industry expertise to support destination branding and tourism development.
