Students Rescued After Roller Coaster Incident at Galveston's Pleasure Pier
Eight students were rescued after being stranded on the Iron Shark roller coaster at Pleasure Pier in Galveston, Texas. The incident occurred during a field trip when the roller coaster became stuck nearly 100 feet in the air. The Galveston Fire Department conducted the rescue operation, which took nearly four hours to complete. Fortunately, no injuries were reported among the students. The cause of the malfunction is currently under investigation by the authorities.
