Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe Reappoints Beth Knes to PSRS/PEERS Board of Trustees
Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe has reappointed Beth Knes to the Public School and Education Employee Retirement Systems of Missouri (PSRS/PEERS) Board of Trustees. Knes has been a member of the Board since her initial gubernatorial appointment in 2017 and has served as Board chair since 2024. Her reappointment is intended to ensure continued stability and strong governance for the retirement systems, which provide retirement, disability, and survivor benefits to eligible Missouri public school employees and education personnel. Knes retired from public education in 2014 after more than 20 years of service, having held positions such as Executive Director of Student Services for Rockwood School District and as an administrator at Rockwood and Parkway School District. She also served as a reading specialist teacher and a special education teacher earlier in her career. Knes holds multiple degrees, including a master’s in educational administration and special education, and a Missouri principal certificate.
