Hart Solar Project Completed, Powering Over 21,000 Michigan Homes Annually
NorthStar Clean Energy has completed the Hart Solar Project in Michigan, which is expected to generate over 200 gigawatt-hours of electricity annually. This output is sufficient to power more than 21,000 homes and is projected to prevent approximately 96,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions each year. The project signifies a substantial step in Michigan's transition towards a cleaner energy future. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for October 8, bringing together project partners, customers, local officials, community leaders, and stakeholders to commemorate its completion and acknowledge the collaborative efforts involved. The project also contributed significantly to local economic growth, creating over 300 construction jobs and providing a long-term source of tax revenue for local services and infrastructure.
