Pure Street Photography Awards 2026 Celebrates Global Talent with Exhibition in India
The Pure Street Photography Awards 2026 has announced its winners, highlighting the work of photographers from around the world. The competition, which aims to celebrate photographs characterized by honesty, observation, and humanity, received 1,582 submissions from 50 countries. The awards feature two categories: Open and Black and White. The Open Category was judged by Fiona Shields, Head of Photography at The Guardian, while the Black & White Category was judged by renowned street photographer Rui Palha. The judging process was conducted blindly, ensuring impartiality by not revealing any identifying information about the photographers. The winning photographs and 158 finalists will be showcased at India's largest dedicated exhibition of contemporary street photography, scheduled to take place at Jawahar Kala Kendra in Jaipur from November 20 to 22, 2026.
