100 Black Men of Atlanta Celebrates 40 Years of Mentorship and Community Impact
100 Black Men of Atlanta, Inc. is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2026, marking four decades of dedicated service to mentoring, educating, and empowering young people in Atlanta. The organization, founded in 1986 by entrepreneur Nathaniel R. Goldston III and 18 associates, has grown significantly from its initial 19 members to over 200 local members today. It is one of the largest chapters within the broader 100 Black Men movement, which now includes over 100 chapters worldwide and more than 10,000 members. The organization's signature initiative, Project Success, boasts a 100% high school graduation rate for its students, with 95% of graduates pursuing higher education and collectively receiving $8.5 million in scholarship awards. The 40th Anniversary 100 Honors Gala, scheduled for October 3, 2026, at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis, will commemorate this legacy and raise funds for future initiatives.
