Chick-fil-A Expands Hunger Relief Efforts with $1 Million Donation and Community Initiatives
Chick-fil-A is significantly expanding its hunger relief efforts across the United States, committing up to $1 million in matched donations to Feeding America partner food banks during September's Hunger Action Month. This initiative builds upon the company's existing Chick-fil-A Shared Table program, which facilitates the donation of surplus, high-quality food from local restaurants to nonprofit partners. Since its inception in 2012, the Shared Table program has helped create over 50 million meals. Currently, more than 2,700 Chick-fil-A restaurants, representing over 90% of all locations, participate in the program, collaborating with more than 1,600 nonprofit organizations nationwide.
