Chick-fil-A Expands Hunger Relief Efforts with $1 Million Donation and Community Initiatives
Chick-fil-A is significantly expanding its hunger relief efforts across the United States, committing up to $1 million in matched donations to Feeding America partner food banks during September's Hunger Action Month. This initiative builds upon the company's existing Chick-fil-A Shared Table program, which facilitates the donation of surplus, high-quality food from local restaurants to nonprofit partners. Since its inception in 2012, the Shared Table program has helped create over 50 million meals. Currently, more than 2,700 Chick-fil-A restaurants, representing over 90% of all locations, participate in the program, collaborating with more than 1,600 nonprofit organizations nationwide. The company's broader hunger relief efforts, including disaster relief and grants, have collectively provided the equivalent of over 200 million meals since 2020.
