Minnesota Office of Cannabis Management Engages Rochester Residents on New Market Regulations
The Minnesota Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) recently visited Rochester to provide updates on the state's new cannabis market and to gather feedback from local residents. Eric Taubel, the executive director of the OCM, stated that the office is traveling across the state to understand public concerns regarding the rollout of cannabis regulations. Key concerns raised by residents include public health and safety, particularly regarding children's access to cannabis products. In response, the OCM is addressing issues such as packaging and labeling to ensure that individuals under 21 do not access these products. The office is also collecting input on the business rollout of the cannabis market, intending to use this feedback to propose changes to the Legislature.
