The incident occurred on a Wednesday afternoon when a vehicle collided with the spa, leading to the injury of an employee who was subsequently taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The crash also affected a neighboring dry cleaner, damaging a shared wall and scattering debris. Firefighters were required to stabilize the building before the vehicle could be removed.
