Granicus and AWS Partner to Launch AI-Powered Government Experience Agent
Granicus has collaborated with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to develop the Government Experience Agent, an artificial intelligence-powered digital assistant designed for government use. This new AI tool aims to modernize critical operations, enhance decision-making, improve resident experiences, and deliver government services more efficiently. In its initial deployment within a single county, the Government Experience Agent successfully managed over 13,000 resident interactions within its first six months of operation. This deployment also led to a significant reduction in call volume, avoiding an estimated 4,000 phone calls, and saved more than 330 staff hours. The partnership highlights a growing trend of technology companies leveraging cloud services and AI to assist public agencies in streamlining their operations and improving citizen engagement.
