The question arose during her guest appearance on Masterchef Australia, where she was asked how she preferred to be addressed. Meghan responded by suggesting people call her 'Meghan,' adding to the ongoing confusion about her formal title. Since stepping back from royal duties in 2020, both Meghan and Prince Harry have retained their titles as Duke and Duchess of Sussex, despite not being active members of the British Royal Family.
