World Vision International Addresses Acute Malnutrition Crisis in South Sudan
World Vision International is actively addressing a severe malnutrition crisis affecting 2.2 million children in South Sudan. According to the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) report, these children are experiencing acute malnutrition, which severely impacts their ability to play, learn, and thrive. Mesfin Loha, the Country Director of World Vision International South Sudan, emphasized the organization's commitment to providing essential services to the most vulnerable children. The crisis is escalating faster than the response efforts, prompting World Vision to intensify its initiatives to support these children and keep hope alive.
