Heifer International Seeks Project Manager for PROSPER Initiative in Nepal
Heifer International is actively recruiting a Project Manager for its PROSPER project in Nepal. This role is central to the organization's efforts to combat hunger and poverty through sustainable community development. The Project Manager will be responsible for leading the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the PROSPER project, ensuring it aligns with Heifer International's regenerative program model and donor requirements. Key responsibilities include managing project staff and partners, overseeing budget and expenditure, and ensuring the project meets its key performance indicators (KPIs). The manager will also focus on strengthening local systems, promoting inclusive market systems, and facilitating access to finance for smallholder farmers, particularly women and youth. The position requires extensive travel to rural project locations in Nepal, including Dang, Banke, Bardiya, Surkhet, and JVN, to build relationships and ensure effective implementation.
