Kia to Invest $649 Million in Mexico for Electric Vehicle Production
Kia Motors has announced a $649 million investment in Mexico to produce its first fully electric vehicle, the Kia EV3. The investment, set to be executed between 2026 and 2028, was announced by Mexico's Secretary of Economy, Marcelo Ebrard, during a press conference with President Claudia Sheinbaum. The investment aligns with Mexico's strategic plan to boost electric vehicle production and reduce carbon emissions.
