Renters in Augusta can save approximately 45% on monthly rent, equating to about $450, by sharing an apartment. The study compared one-bedroom rents to half the cost of two-bedroom apartments, revealing that a one-bedroom apartment costs around $1,000, while a two-bedroom is $1,100. The analysis used rental data from March 2025 to March 2026, emphasizing the financial benefits of shared housing in the face of rising rent prices.
