ETRI Collaborates on Smart Agriculture Innovation with Korean Institutions
The Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI) has announced a collaboration with Damyang-gun, KIST, and KAIST to develop smart agriculture technologies. This partnership aims to create a sustainable smart agriculture ecosystem by integrating AI, data-based precision cultivation, autonomous agricultural robots, and productivity prediction models. The initiative will focus on optimizing crop growth environments and developing intelligent agricultural operation models using AGI and multi-agent systems. The collaboration seeks to address structural challenges in Korean agriculture, such as climate change and declining productivity, by establishing a field demonstration platform involving local farmers.
