Geneva Chamber of Commerce Revives Swedish Days Parade with Local Business Support
The Geneva Chamber of Commerce has announced the revival of the Swedish Days parade, which was initially canceled for the year. The decision to reinstate the parade comes after local businesses, led by State Street Jewelers, volunteered to assist with coordination and support. The parade, traditionally held on the final day of the Swedish Days festival, will now proceed with the help of local merchants and sponsors. State Street Jewelers has committed to being the presenting sponsor, while other businesses like Stockholm’s and The Little Traveler are also contributing. The Chamber of Commerce remains the official host, providing logistical support and promoting the event. The festival, celebrating Swedish heritage, will take place from June 24-28, featuring various activities including a craft beer tent, carnival, and 5K race.
