Arthur Blank's Family Foundation Hosts National Council of Nonprofits Retreat in Montana
The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation recently hosted the annual staff retreat for the National Council of Nonprofits (NCN) at West Creek Ranch in Montana. The retreat emphasized outdoor activities and engagement with the natural environment, aligning with the ranch's philosophy that time spent outdoors fosters rejuvenation, clear thinking, and authentic relationships. Participants dedicated half of their time to outdoor pursuits, reflecting the belief that connecting with nature and understanding the land's history is crucial for personal and professional well-being. The event provided a unique opportunity for NCN staff to connect, strategize, and learn, with contributions from the Montana Nonprofit Association and guest speaker Dr. Jason Cummins, who shared insights on Montana's Indigenous people and an Indigenous approach to wellness.
