China Expands Nuclear Missile Silos, Signaling Strategic Military Growth
China has publicly acknowledged the expansion of its network of nuclear missile silos, marking a significant development in its strategic military capabilities. This announcement, made through Chinese state media, reveals the construction of underground missile facilities by the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Rocket Force. Although specific details about the number and locations of these silos remain undisclosed, the move confirms international assessments based on satellite imagery that have suggested extensive construction activities in remote areas of northern and western China.
