Battelle Study Reveals Disconnect Between Educators and Employers on AI Workforce Readiness
A new national study by Battelle, the inaugural Applied Workforce Outlook™, highlights a significant gap in perception regarding student preparedness for an AI-enabled economy. The study, which surveyed over 3,600 employers, educators, students, parents, and opinion leaders, found that fewer than half of corporate and human resources decision-makers believe current curricula adequately prepare students for real-world work. In stark contrast, 80% of high school educators and 85% of higher education educators believe their curriculum is effective in preparing students.
