Inkling-Small Model Released: Efficient AI with Competitive Performance
Inkling-Small, a new AI model, has been released, offering efficient performance comparable to its larger counterpart, Inkling, but at a fraction of the size. This Mixture-of-Experts transformer model features 276 billion total parameters, with 12 billion active, and is trained on NVIDIA systems. Inkling-Small excels in reasoning, agentic coding, and instruction following benchmarks, providing users with adaptable performance that balances cost and efficiency. The model is designed for multimodal tasks, including audio intelligence and visual reasoning, making it suitable for real-world applications. Inkling-Small is available for fine-tuning and use on Tinker, offering developers a cost-effective solution for various tasks.
