NBA Star Anthony Edwards Ordered to Pay $14K Monthly Child Support
NBA star Anthony Edwards has been ordered to pay $14,000 per month in child support to his ex, Alexandria Descroches, for their son, Amir. This amount represents a significant increase from the baseline of approximately $3,200 per month. The court determined the payment based on Edwards's monthly income, which is nearly $4.8 million. Despite the order, Edwards claims he has never met the child. In addition to the monthly payments, the judge mandated that Edwards take out a life insurance policy worth around $2.6 million, naming Descroches as the primary beneficiary, and cover her legal fees exceeding $21,000. Descroches, who earns about $1,016 per month, testified about her aspirations to complete her college education to better support their child.
